What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, understand how you use the service, and improve your experience over time.
Types of cookies we use
- Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function. These handle authentication, session management, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies.
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use localith.ai so we can improve the product and content. We use PostHog and Google Analytics. Their cookies are set on localith.ai itself.
- Preference cookies: Remember your settings such as language, timezone, and display preferences so you do not need to re-enter them on each visit.
- Marketing cookies: Used to deliver relevant information about Localith features and offers. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland they are only set with your consent. Attribution cookie
Besides the tools above, localith.ai sets one first-party cookie of its own, lc_attr. It remembers how you first found our website (for example a search engine, an AI assistant, or a link on another site), the pages you viewed, and the last page you viewed, so that when you sign up, the Localith app can see which pages led to your signup. If you came from one of our Google or Microsoft ads, it also keeps the ad click (the identifier the ad platform adds to the link), so that we can report the signup to that ad platform. It contains no name or email address.
The pages and how you found us follow the rules for analytics cookies, and the ad click follows the rules for marketing cookies. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, or if we cannot determine your country, each part is stored only if you allow that type of cookie. Elsewhere, it is stored unless you decline that type of cookie or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. The cookie is kept for 90 days after your last visit, and each part is deleted as soon as you decline its type of cookie.
How to manage cookies
You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner shown on your first visit to localith.ai. You can also adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies at any time.
Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working correctly. Disabling analytics or marketing cookies will not affect core functionality.
